TerrapinLanding.com - Offering the latest news, reviews and open discussion of Terrapin Crossroads, Phil Lesh's live music venue, restaurant, bar and cultural center located in San Rafael's Canal District, Marin County, California.

Terrapin Crossroads officially opened for business on March 15 2012 (Phil Lesh's 72nd birthday) and is a warm, comfortable and inviting community gathering place.

Terrapin Crossroads boasts a full bar, weekend brunch and a restaurant that offers a menu that will change daily with a focus on locally grown, organic, sustainable farm to table food.

Terrapin Crossroads is most notably a live music venue and Phil Lesh has been playing there regularly. There are routinely casual performances by Phil Lesh and other musicians with free evening gigs in the bar and outside on the patio during brunch as well as runs of higher priced ticketed shows with major Phil Lesh & Friends lineups in the venue's concert hall, The Grate Room, three to four times per year and other lower priced ticketed shows such as West Coast Rambles (inspired and blessed by Levon Helm and his Midnight Rambles), The Fellowship (the Lesh Family Band plus other guest musicians), the Terrapin All-Stars featuring local musicians and Telstar for free form jamming. The Phil Lesh Quintet (The Q!) was even resurrected for the first time since 2003 to play in the Grate Room for a four-show run on April 26 - 29 2012 and again for another four-show run on December 6 - 9 2012. Since the summer of 2012, other acts have booked their live music events in the Grate Room, including The Fall Risk, Furthur, Yonder Mountain String Band, Marco Benevento, the Chris Robinson Brotherhood, Les Claypool's Duo De Twang, Jackie Greene, The David Nelson Band, Joan Osborne, God Street Wine, The Mother Hips, Dark Star Orchestra, Stu Allen & Mars Hotel, Mark Karan, The Infamous Stringdusters, Brokedown In Bakersfield, the North Mississippi Allstars Duo, David Martin's House Party, the TRI All-Stars, Tea Leaf Green, Nicki Bluhm and The Gramblers and many more.
